We consider the whole person in the context of his or her struggles, strengths, desires, and dilemmas to formulate an individualized plan of treatment based on the person's unique symptom set, issues, and goals. We offer a treatment team of psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatric social workers, and licensed professional counselors practicing together in a comprehensive and integrated manner to help adults, adolescents, and children to conquer mental, emotional, behavioral, relational, addictive, and chemical illnesses and issues. Dr. Reading is Board Certified* by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, The University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio, and Texas Tech University Medical School Residency in the Department of Neuropsychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. He has the experience of a 20+ year, distinguished career in the practice of Medicine and Psychiatry and is a Clinical Assistant Professor with the University of Texas Medical Branch.

*Board Certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology means that the Diplomate has passed a series of written and oral examinations proving a certain level of proficiency.  Candidates are not allowed to test until they have had a certain number of years of qualified residency training and clinical experience.
