Generalized Anxiety Disorder

People with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) have a sense of chronic anxiety or exaggerated worry, which is manifested by some of the following symptoms:

  • Feeling restless, “keyed up”, or “on edge”
  • Feeling “jumpy”
  • Having difficulty concentrating while anxious
